Since our last blog post we have spent the past 2 months exploring Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia, eating a ton of fresh figs (OMG) and discovering WILD camping spots so beautiful, we had only ever dreamed of their existence…

While camping in the misty scene above, we took the time to film our latest vlog (below), which tells you all about why we love WILD camping + some of our favorite WILD camping stories! We had a lot of fun filming this one, that is before our camera cut us off at the 30-minute mark! Regardless, it’s filled with a ton of insight, fun, enthusiasm and adventure!

Still curious about how we find these epically WILD spots? Well, with some patience, persistence, GoogleEarth GPS (thanks to our tep wifi device) and a hint of imagination, there really isn’t anything we/you can’t find!

We seek solitude. We avoid cities and tourist destinations. We immerse ourselves in nature and tread lightly. We search for beaches, lakes and unpopulated “edges.” We cook our own meals and eat from the land. We enjoy slow mornings and high peaks, long trails and fresh creeks. We escape to watch the stars grow bright and to feel the cool breeze on our skin at night. We live from our souls and love from our hearts… life feels best in these WILD parts.

It’s amazing what living so simply for so long has taught us. Our biggest take away: When you make your heart your home, the more love and joy you can feel with less effort, less planning, less stuff and more freedom.
