Conan O'Brien, a tall, lanky, awkward, red-head with an awesome late night talk-show that's filmed right here in LA! I know, I know, shocker right?! I was surprised at how easy tickets to Conan were to get actually. We signed up a week in advance to be part of Team Coco and 2 days before the taping, we got a call from the studio to confirm our attendance. This was the first time anyone from a studio had ever called to confirm if we would be there or not, pretty organized if you ask me. Also note that they hand out stand-by tickets at 10am the day of the show if you are not able to secure tickets in advance, and if you miss the 10am deadline you can always try calling the ticket office at #818.977.3056.

There is a free Warner Brothers parking garage at Gate 8 for all Team Coco members to park in. It's a super simple procedure and the waiting area for Conan is on the 2nd floor of the parking structure with a sign that says "Conan" right above it, there is a Mexican food truck (Mexican Coke in glass bottles!) and 2 vending machines there too. After we parked and walked over to the waiting area, we had to pass through security, they stamped our hand, gave us an orange Conan wrist band and finally we got our number.

The tickets suggested that we arrive between 1:30 and 2pm, and required that we were there by 3. We decided to get there by 1:30 in order to ensure that we got good seats, but we were shocked when we were handed ticket #64. We then found out that they start handing out the tickets at 12 noon and you can completely leave the area as long as you are back by 3pm..! We had not read that anywhere and had no idea. Take it from us, get there at 11:45, get your ticket #'s at noon and go have lunch, read a book, go for a run, do whatever your heart desires, as long as you are back and ready to go at 3pm.

At 3pm the great adventure begins. They start to herd the crowd from the parking garage, across the street to the WB studios, through the lots, through more lots and then to another waiting area. This whole adventure lasted from about 3-4:15. I recommend going on the WB Studio Tour beforehand if you can, that way you'll actually recognize where you are walking and recognize the stages as you walk by them. After the grand walking tour was over, they lead us over to Conan's Studio.

Once in the studio, we were all seated by number and being #64, our seats were in the 2nd to last row, I can't complain though, we still had a perfect view of the stage. Special guest Zooey Deschanel was as adorkable as ever. She spoke about how she always dresses for a disaster, so random, but the way she explains it, it totally makes sense! There was also special guest Ben McKenzie, whose name I didn't recognize until I saw his face and realized he was Ryan from the OC! He talked about how he used to play football with Drew Brees back in high school, I clearly went to the wrong high school.

Conan was hilarious the entire show and his band was incredible; the sax player walked through the audience as he played and Conan cracked jokes at the people in the front row. One of the funniest parts of the show was when Conan solved the mystery of Jennifer Lawrence's Oscar night slip, I would have never known ;)

Filming lasted until 6pm and Conan ended the show with a special song for his audience. I would definitely go back to Conan, though quite longer of a process than other shows, it is definitely worth it!
